Job Description
* Develop and support MySQL database ( Configration, replication, Backups )
* Optimize MySQL database performance.
* Estimate MySQL database capacities; develop methods for monitoring database capacity and usage.
* Establish mechanisms for data backup/restore of relational databases; provide restoration services as needed.
* Develop and optimize physical design of MySQL database systems.
* Develop application-specific fault-tolerant distributed database mechanisms.
*MySQL development involving creating tables, views, writing stored procedures and triggers
*Fine-tune the performance of queries.
Required Experience and Background:
* Demonstrated experience with relational database design
* Demonstrated experience with relational database performance tuning and capacity planning especially on MySQL based environments
* Min. 5 years experience as a Mysql DBA or equivalent
* Experience with open source/linux development and production environment is CRITICAL
