Responsibilities: (a.) S/W development and enhancements for GSM-GPRS-UMTS DSP applications. Ensure that the product is developed within the committed time, and asper quality standards. (b.) Project Management and tracking ongoing projects. Prepare project schedules/ plans and layouts / drawings for executing capital intensive projects. Develop financial projections. Monitor projects with respect to Cost, Resource Deployment, Quality Compliance, Productivity. the equipmentsdeveloped. Enable gradual but timebound transfer of technogology from a offshoredevelopment center to the inhouse team. Ensure that the projects are well planned and are completed within the stipulated timeframe. (c.) Developing a team spirit and enhancing the performance of the team by ensuring that their issues/ concerns are addressed. Manage good relations with a offshore development team. Enhance employee satisfaction of the service team, there by getting maximum output. (d.) To ensure that the Team is abreast with the la technologies/ products. Also, to ensure that refesher sessions are conducted for the service team,atleast twice in an year. Enhance the technical competencies ofthe service team, therebyattaining maximum output. (e.) Ensure adherence to quality standards and maintaining all related documents. Identify areas of quality failures and take steps to rectify thesystem. Practice quality standards with key emphasis on improving quality. Ensure that the products developed are fault free and adhere to quality standards.
