T24 Business Analyst
Location : Singapore
Objectives/Purpose
• To provide advice and consultation to internal user groups on IT related matters.
• To translate business requirements into system requirement specifications.
ï‚• To support IT with the change management process.
ï‚• To provide IT with business and application expertise.
Duties/Roles/Responsibilities/Accountabilities (in order of significance/impact, if available)
Business Analysis
• To undertake feasibility studies, clarify business requirements and write specifications.
• To translate business requirements into system requirement specifications.
• To assist implementation support team in the formulation and scoping of Test Plans and Test Cases and assist in roll-out and implementation of projects.
• To provide occasional support, when required to the users and assist other IT teams on critical issues and participate in IT taskforces.
• Advise business of new features and functionality to existing systems and ascertain how they could be beneficial to the business. Support users in initiating requests for implementation of such system enhancements.
Experience
Minimum 8-9 years IT experience.
• At least 6 years experience in T24
• Experience in Globus implementation / Upgrade
• Experience in MIS Reporting / Data Warehousing will be an advantage
• Experience in various Banking Regulations / Reporting requirements (e.g. BASEL II, USGAAP, SOX etc.)
Relationship Management to Users and IT
• Facilitate resolution of functional points of contention between users and IT with regards to escalated HMS and projects.
• Understand user needs and advise them on the best way to get these needs met.
Process
• Support the Project Manager and business to clarify requirements and scope.
• Provide status updates from the functional stream to project management.
• To initiate and facilitate items that should be dealt with in CRMS (Short R-forms). Provide specifications for CRMS where necessary.
• To execute functional impact analysis on new projects and change requests.
Communications & working relationships
Structured and informal reviews with Head, Business Engineering and Projects
Status Updates to Project Managers
Monthly team meetings
Continuous communications with users
Functional walkthroughs with Development and Testing teams
T24 Knowledge
• Minimum 6 years experience in Globus/T24
• T24 broad based functional experience in the areas of development, configuration, maintenance, and understanding of the functional landscape of T24
• Experience in creating functional specification for medium and large projects.
• Experience in T24 Release Upgrades and implementations, able to identify the key functional differences between T24 releases (R07 and above).
• Familiarity with change and configuration management concepts and principles is an asset.
• Detailed knowledge of the majority of Globus modules in T24 R07 & later. Very strong knowledge and experience in at least 10 of the following T24 Modules
