T24 Senior Developer/Support Analyst
Location Singapore
MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE:
Tasks / responsibilities
Involvement in an international Globus study providing strategy input to harmonise all Globus installations globally.
International consultation and technical support for each of the international Globus installations.
Oversee new systems implementation & changes to existing systems.
Analyse project requirements, design and implementation.
Prepare detailed High Level and Low Level Design documents according to CC Quality standards.
Software development and development consultation. Developer role in project enhancement
Hands on role to provide development general technical broad based support in areas where T24 or Jbase is used.
To develop new applications and manage change requests to the Globus Reference System
Responsibilities will include primary tasks to apply T24 / Jbase specialist knowledge into the regular integration and development cycle.
The task will be focussed on supporting the Application Development with this specialist knowledge in the areas of Globus application development, maintenance, integration ing, change request development and defect resolution.
Release management, deployment of code and defect fixes to maintain consistency of the Globus product are also necessary tasks.
The key task is to adhere to central principles to address and resolve change requests from Project and Production streams.
This is a hands-on role
Communication
Reports to the Team Lead of CC T24, CC PB Applications Singapore
Direct communication with users in international locations
Communication with the head of the T24 Practice within the CC PB Applications Singapore
Communication with the T24 development team and Project Managers
Personnel
On a need basis lead the offshore software developer.
o Mentor and coach the CoE Pune T24 team with reference to project executions.
SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES (e.g. shifts, travel overseas, hours):
Flexibility in working hours to account for solution / support delivery and communication with the various regions across time zones.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Essential Desirable
University Degree / Masters
Excellent English skills (oral and written)
Degree preferably in computer science or engineering
WORK EXPERIENCE/BACKGROUND:
Essential Desirable
Minimum 8 years IT experience.
At least 6 years experience in T24 / Globus / jBASE 4.x and 5.x
Experience in T24 Project implementation / Core Upgrades
Experience in MIS Reporting / Data Warehousing will be an advantage
Familiar in various Banking Regulations / Reporting requirements (e.g. BASEL II, USGAAP, SOX etc.)
Experienced in the following packages/technologies: .NET, java & other database systems
Knowledge of the majority of Globus modules in T24 R4 or later from the point of view of configuration and operation.
Unix working knowledge on la versions of AIX
TECHNICAL/BUSINESS SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:

Experienced in software development & Application support
SDLC Life Cycle
Knowledge of CMMi methodology
Excellent communication and presentation skills
