Title: SME - Technical Support
Reports to:Team Leader / AM Tech Support
Based at: Gurgaon
Job Description:
This role performs varying degrees of problem determination and resolution of desktop / laptop hardware and software problems through the effective use of available technical resources. They are responsible for driving First Call Resolution and provide real time floor support. Strong communication and technical skills are needed since direct customer interaction is often required. Accordingly, they have a direct impact on client satisfaction.Will apply technical expertise, capable of reviewing, analyzing the tickets for resolution. Resolve escalated client hardware/software PC problem tickets.

Have ability to identify gaps in best practices. Perform research and offer alternate solutions to team

Demonstrate proven technical writing and organizational skills
Flexible and easily adaptable to changing priorities;

Core Area of expertise
Operating Systems: Windows 8, Windows 7 and Windows XP
Software: Support for all major Software including Norton, Microsoft Office.
Networking: Routers and Small home and office networks.
Hardware: Desktop PCs, Laptops, Video Cards, Sound Cards, Ethernet Cards, 
Internal CD/DVD Readers, Internal CD/DVD Writers, Internal IDE, Hard Drives
Minimum 4 years of experience with at least 3 year experience in handling computer software issue, peripheral issues, desktop / laptop issues, etc. for home or office users.
Minimum 1 year experience working as an Escalation / Resolution Expert in similar domain
Past experience in the similar domain, with the organizations likes Dell, iYogi, Quattro, etc.
Good knowledge of MS Excel, Reporting, Ticket Scrubbing  and Analysis
Technical Certification i.e. A+, Microsoft Certifications etc.
People Management Skills
Bachelor`s Degree
English : Fluent
